Support Hospice of Laramie with this 5k Fun Run! Life Should be Lived in Color!
5k Color Fun Run/Walk on September 6, 2025.
At the end of life, we are always reminded of the importance of living each day to its fullest. We are excited for the fourth annual Living in Color Run to support our mission of promoting dignity and comfort at the end of life.
Please purchase tickets before July 15th to guarantee a T-Shirt size. After that, tickets are still available but T-Shirt sizes are not guaranteed. We will order extras, but it will be first come, first serve. You can wear a white shirt, or dress up however you like. We can't wait to see the tutus, unicorns, dinosaurs, and other team spirit!
After the race, stick around for food, prizes, and a donation bar!
FUN RUN: This is a fun run and will not be timed or scored. We are cheering for you and throwing color at you whether you come in first, last, or in-between! Walk, Run, Skip... just come have fun!
PARKING: Will be across the street from Hospice in Developmental Daycare's parking lot (Thanks so much, Developmental!). You will take a left turn off Centennial Drive. From there, you can walk to the staging area/front of the Hospice building. Please do not park on Pierce Street!
WHAT TO WEAR/BRING:
- White! If you pre-ordered a shirt- they are mainly white, and if you didn’t, it's no problem, just wear something mainly white!
- If you signed up after the cutoff for guaranteed shirts- shirts will be on a first come, first serve basis at registration.
- The color powder will mostly wash out of your clothes, but may leave some residue- so wear clothes you are not concerned about getting stained! This goes for running shoes, too! Have fun with this, think, TuTu’s, Unicorn Costumes, Themed group costumes! We will have a prize for best dressed team and best dressed individual runner!
- Ziplock Baggie for your Cell Phone
- Bandana or Face Covering if you think you may be sensitive to the colored powered (Its Cornstarch and nontoxic Food Dye). We wont aim for your face, but be on the safe side if you think you should! There will be 6-8 color stations along the route!
- Sunglasses: Same reason as above- plus, its going to be sunny!
- On that note- bring Sunscreen!
- A change of clothes or old towel for after the race! Baby wipes or paper towels are a great idea, too! We will provide you a big ol’ garbage bag if you would like something to put down on your car seat for the drive home.
Bathrooms: Will be available.
First Aid will be available if needed on race day.
We will have water and light snacks available during and after the race, as well as a Bloody Mary Bar and the Soda Pit!
The Bloody Mary Bar is a donation of $10 (or more, if you have it in your heart). We accept cash, checks, or electronic payment and will not provide change.
The Soda Pit will be individual pay, accepting EasyEats, cash, credit/debit, or NFC mobile payments.
